Happy 1st Birthday Erin! Mommy, Daddy and John love you! We had a great party for Erin on Saturday while Aunt Bayly and Uncle Dave were here in Texas. We had a little BBQ at Lakewood park. John fell asleep on the way to the party, and we couldn't get him to wake up. I know he would have loved to "help" Erin with all the presents and the cake, but on the other hand, it was kind of nice for Erin to be the center of attention for once.
I can't believe it has been a year for our lucky 7/7/07 baby! She is learning and growing so much every day. She has amazing fine motor skills, and is very inquisitive. She loves observing others, especially her big brother. She wakes up every morning and points to John's room. When I take her in, she talks and tries to wake him up. She loves to crawl all over him and smile at him until he gets up and plays with her. Erin is experimenting with standing on her own and walking along things she can hold on to. She has the most amazing strawberry blonde hair, and 4 cute teeth with a smile that melts your heart away. We are so blessed to have little Erin in our family!
By the way, the last statement in the video may or may not be true. I really try to be a good mom!
